Cabinet & Shelving Lifts

Diagonal Cabinet Lifts & Vertical Shelf Lifts make upper wall cabinets accessible

Cabinet & Shelving Lifts

Both the "Diago" and the "Verti" make upper wall cabinet storage accessible to people in wheelchairs, and others who have mobility challenges or are of short stature.  Adding accessible cabinets to your handicapped accessible kitchen design will create a more usable kitchen for users of all abilities and add value to your home.

Lowering the wall cabinets from the standard 18 inches above the counter to counter height makes the second shelf accessible for everyday use for most people, creating wheelchair accessible kitchen cabinets.

The "Diago"  is a diagonal lift for upper wall cabinets.

The Diago cabinet lift system is mounted at the back of new or existing wall cabinets. The cabinet lift lowers the cabinet in a curved movement down to the work surface below.

The "Verti"  is a vertical shelf lift allowing shelves from upper wall cabinets to be lowered to counter level.

The Verti shelving lift system is ideal for remodeling. Existing kitchen cabinets are easily made to be wheelchair accessible.  This is achieved by simply removing the bottom of the cabinet and the existing shelves and mounting the lift to the inside the cabinet.

These vertical shelf lifts are a great solution to providing access to wall cabinet space.

The Verti shelf lift works equally well with new kitchen cabinets.

The Verti 830 series has a 10.4" (26.5cm) shelf depth.

The Verti 831 series has a 12.2" (31.5cm) shelf depth.

The Diago and Verti models are available in many standard sizes to meet your needs.

Both the Diago and Verti lifts are operated by simply pushing the "up" or "down" ALU control button.

With remote models a two button controller operates the wheelchair shelving lift.  4 and 8 button controllers are available to operate multiple lifts.

With so many options available, it's important to assess your accessibility needs to find the right accessible kitchen cabinet solutions for your home.

ADA kitchen cabinets need to be installed to meet the reach and mounting height criteria under the  guidelines for an ADA cabinet.  This is important for commercial and institutional installations.
